Program Details

Our ladder-style program offers an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, which will enable you to apply for and take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), which is needed to become a Registered Nurse (RN).

Our nursing program offers numerous options: In-person/face-to-face (day and evening), LPN to RN Online, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to LPN or RN, and Weekend Hybrid. We also enroll cohorts at our Bedford County Campus and Garrett County, Maryland location on a bi-annual basis.

You will be eligible for certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) upon completion of your first semester of study.

After completing your first year of our Nursing program and a five-week summer course, you'll be eligible for the NCLEXPN or to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Completing the second year of our Nursing program enables you to apply for the NCLEX-RN or licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

Throughout the course of the nursing program students are placed in various clinical sites. Students are in the clinical setting approximately 1400 hours over the course of four semesters under the supervision of a nursing faculty member.
