Choose an Online Class if you want to complete 80 – 100% of the class activities online in Brightspace, our learning management system. Refer to the description of the class in the Course Catalog for more information about on-site requirements for the class (up 20 20% of the class
for proctoring exams or for other required on-site activities).
Choose a Blended Class if you want a mix of in-class and online instruction, with a reduction in the amount
of time you are required to be on campus for the class. Check the description of the
class in the Course Catalog to learn about the on-site attendance expectations for the class.
A Flex Course lets you choose from day to day throughout the semester how you want to attend class!
The class is scheduled like a traditional on-site class, so you can choose to attend
every session on campus. The class is designed as an online class, so you also have
the choice of staying home at least 80% of the time to complete the required class
activities online. And there’s another option! If you have a reliable internet connection,
you can use virtual meeting software to connect from anywhere during class to participate
with your instructor and classmates in a live session of class. Check the class description
in the Course Catalog for on-site attendance expectations for the class.
