As an ACM student, you now have many avenues of learning using technology. Your student email address, ACM WiFi, Self-Service, Brightspace, and eSafe notifications are each available to you to help you in your journey here at ACM. Students are encouraged to use these resources throughout their time here at the college.
You may recall receiving a letter in the mail with a username and password on it. This is what you will use to access these sites and services. Your username and password are confidential and should not be shared with anyone. If you did not receive this letter, or if you don't know your username and password, please fill out the Student Username and Password form, contact Helpdesk at 301-784-5444 or come to the Technologies Building - Room T115 and ask for helpdesk.
Any electronic communications from the college will be sent to your @student.allegany.edu email address. Please check this email frequently. Instructors and Brightspace will use this email address to stay in contact with you also.
Allegany College of Maryland is now required by federal mandate to implement Multi-Factor Authentication (“MFA”) for its students. This requires students who access college systems to use MFA in addition to their username and password during login.
