Please note that these fees do not include student housing at Willowbrook Woods.

How does my student apply to ACM?

Our free application can be filled out here. Need help with your Admissions Application? Get in touch with our Admissions Staff.

How do we complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?

Head to the official website for FAFSA and select either Start New Form (if you haven’t applied previously) or Access Existing Form (if you’ve applied previously).

If you need help with the financial aid process, contact our Student Financial Aid Office.

When is the deadline for the ACM Foundation’s scholarship applications?

The scholarship application period opens November 1 each year with monthly deadlines through August. Individual scholarships have their own published deadline dates. You can find the updated deadlines and a link on the Online Scholarship Application or on our Scholarships home page.

Where does my student buy textbooks?

Your student can order textbooks via eCampus and pick them up at the Campus Store. The Campus Store is located at the heart of the Cumberland Campus, next to College Center.

The Campus Store also sells official ACM merch, notebooks and pens, lab supplies, SD cards, and various other items your student will need to be successful in class.

What are the campus dining options?

Metz Café is located in College Center at the Cumberland campus and offers both grab-n-go and made-to-order options for breakfast and lunch.

The Cumberland campus is within minutes of downtown shopping and dining options, including ACM’s Culinaire Café – where ACM’s School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts' students cook and bake an extensive menu.

Student apartments in Willowbrook Woods have full kitchens.

There is a break room at the Bedford County Campus where students can use microwaves to heat up lunch or grab a snack at the vending machine. The Bedford County Campus is a short drive from restaurants in Everett.

Do I need to buy a meal plan for the Metz Café?

Metz Café offers multiple payment options, including the Allegany Meal Plan Card. Students will save 10% on their order each time they use the Meal Plan Card for an entrée, side, salad, soup, or Chef Fresh (grab-n-go) item.

Financial Aid can also be used to help pay for food at the Metz Café. Head to the Campus Store and receive a voucher for deposit.

You can also use cash, credit, or debit.

Are there clubs and organizations on campus?

Yes. The most current and detailed list of our 30+ student clubs and organizations can be found here.

What academic and disability resources are available?

In-class and testing accommodations are available. Previous IEP and 504 plan recipients are encouraged to apply.

The Academic Access & Disability Resources office is located in the Humanities building (H1).

Does my student need to pay for a parking pass?

No. Parking on campus is free. Students will, however, need to obtain a parking pass from the Business Office, located in College Center.

What are the transportation options to and from campus?

Students enrolled in classes at the School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts/Gateway Center can take an ACM Shuttle to Downtown Cumberland. This once-daily drop off and pick up runs Monday-Friday. Pickup (7:45 a.m.) and drop-off (2:30 p.m.) are in the top Allied Health parking lot.

Allegany County Transit provides pick up and drop off to the Cumberland Campus. View the bus schedule on the ACT website.

See more options on our Community Transportation page.

Is there a security presence on campus and at Willowbrook Woods?

Yes. ACM’s Campus Safety and Special Police are present 24/7, patrolling campus and Willowbrook Woods to respond quickly to calls for assistance. They also provide escort service on campus to ensure students feel safe while walking alone.

In emergency, always dial 911

Visit the Campus Security page for more resources.

ACM proudly welcomes members of the United States Military and their dependents. A dedicated space for veterans is located in our Humanities Building.
