Q & A
  • Why did you choose your major?

I was always interested in business. Throughout high school, I took many classes to prepare me for the business world. I also consider myself very outgoing and enjoy networking with others. A business degree seemed like the perfect fit for my desired career path.

  • What advice would you give to students interested in your career path?
I believe business is an excellent field to get into. Even if you don’t know exactly what you want to do, a business degree opens up many doors. I didn’t grow up with the plan to be a banker, but I have enjoyed every moment of it. This door would not have been opened for me without my business background.
  • What was your overall experience at ACM?
My experience with ACM was excellent! The staff was extremely hands-on and helpful. They were also extremely accommodating when I had a medical issue that interfered with my college schedule. Their team was also extremely helpful when I decided to go back for my bachelor’s degree a few years later to help transfer credits and recommend schools.

  • Who was your favorite ACM faculty/staff member?  Why?
Ron Krug. He was my advisor and a teacher for a few of my classes. He went above and beyond to help build my class schedule, and develop a nice plan for the future. I also used Ron as a reference for employment.
  • What is your greatest achievement in your career?
The greatest achievement of my career was becoming Branch Manager of Somerset Trust. I spent a lot of time developing the skills and knowledge in lending and customer service, before working my way up to this position.
  • Additional comments:
I am a strong advocate for ACM. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I got a great education, at a much more affordable price! I would recommend ACM to anyone that is looking for a great education at a reasonable price!
