  • What made you decide to take ACM Early College classes? 
    I decided to take ACM Early College classes because I get an extra step in preparation for college.
  • When will you graduate high school?
    June of 2024
  • What major do you intend to choose when you enroll as a full-time college student?
    Culinary Arts
  • Why did you choose your intended major?
    I chose culinary arts because I will get to express my creativity and also be in a business setting, which will prepare me for my desired business minor.
  • How has your experience been as an ACM Early College student?
    It has been excellent! The schedule is flexible and the course I’m taking (English 101) is very informative. It is such a great resource for learning.
  • Why would you recommend ACM Early College classes / Allegany College of Maryland to other students?   
    I would recommend Early College Classes/ACM to other students because of the welcoming and hands-on spaces it provides. ACM not only allows students to learn but engages and encourages its students to keep applying knowledge to everyday life.
 
  • How do you take your ACM Early College classes (online, in-school, on-campus), and do you have a preference?
    I take ACM Early College Classes by computer. I love taking classes this way because it is convenient for me as an active high school student.
  • Do you plan to continue with ACM after graduating high school or will you transfer your credits to another college/university?
    I am still seeking out the best colleges for me, but ACM is definitely among my top choices.
  • What advice would you give high school students thinking about Early College classes?
    I would say go for it! Any opportunity you get to pursue more education is a great way to extend your knowledge and become more credible for schools in the future.
  • Additional comments:  
    ACM is a great choice for learners of all types. The instructors are wonderful at helping and will always encourage their students to put themselves first.
