Why did you choose your major? To make an impact on people's lives through health and wellness.
What made you choose Allegany College of Maryland? I never even considered anywhere else; being an in-county resident, choosing ACM was
a no-brainer.
How has your experience been at ACM? My experience at ACM has been nothing short of amazing. All of my professors have
made learning memorable and enjoyable.
Why would you recommend Allegany College of Maryland to future students? ACM is an extraordinary school for starting your schooling or looking for endgame
options.
Did you apply for scholarships? Yes! ACM has scholarships for everyone, especially those who reside in Allegany County.
What motivates you, and why? I want everyone I encounter to know that Jesus Christ saved my life, and he can do
the same for you!
What advice would you give future college students? You do not rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your systems.
Developing a good study system that is tailored to your schedule and learning style
is key to being a successful student.
When will you graduate, and what are your plans after college? I will enter the workforce as a PTA, and then I am looking to continue my education
to obtain my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology.
What advice would you give to students interested in your career path? If you are considering being a PTA, I would not hesitate to recommend you apply to
the program. Hands-on learners thrive in the PTA program and prepare to study hard.
Who was your favorite ACM faculty/staff member, and why? PTA program director, Melody Kentrus, goes the extra mile to make sure that our class
fully understands the concepts of the topics we cover in class, rather than just memorizing
them.
What is your greatest college achievement? I turned my academic career around. My first semester, I was on academic probation
and thinking college was not for me, but in the fall of 2024, I was on the Honor Roll!
