• Why did you choose your major?

  From a young age, I have always loved helping those in need, and with my skills, I thought Nursing would be the perfect opportunity to accomplish my goals

• What made you choose Allegany College of Maryland? 

  I previously attended a university thinking that I could make an impact there but quickly stepped into student loans. I decided to attend ACM due to the cost efficiency to go after one’s dream, and the classrooms were geared smaller to give that high level of teaching atmosphere.

• How has your experience been at ACM? 
  During covid, it was tough not being able to hang out with friends or meet in person. Although we still are required to wear masks, I love getting back to our new normal. Being at ACM, you get that sense that everyone here is ready to help you succeed.
• Why would you recommend Allegany College of Maryland to future students?
  I would totally recommend coming here straight out of high school or later years down the road; opportunities here help one improve themselves in big ways.

• Did you apply for scholarships? 
  I did apply for scholarships and got a couple with major financial needs with my dad cutting his paycheck in half to help the church.
  
  
• What advice would you give future college students?   
  Each day will seem like forever, but with determination, college will fly by. There will be days when you question your worth and ask if you should stay on this career path.  Surround yourself with people that know your goals and will do whatever it takes to help you achieve them.
  
  
• When will you graduate, and what are your plans after college?
  Hopefully, in two years, I will complete my Associates in Nursing here. Perhaps I will do dual enrollment with Frostburg or finish my bachelor's online through Liberty University.
