Summer and Fall Registration Opens April 15 at Allegany College of Maryland

Allegany College of Maryland Announces Summer, Fall Registration Opens April 15 

CUMBERLAND, Md—Apr. 5, 2024— Registration for summer and fall classes at Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) opens on Monday, April 15. Schedules are available to preview online.  

Meet with an advisor.  
New students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor prior to registration. Students can contact Annette Dayton, advising generalist, at 301-784-5198. Walk-in appointments are available. The Advising Center is in Room 141 of ACM’s College Center.  

Get help with registration or admission process.  

ACM’s Admissions/Registration office staff are available to help new students through every step of the registration and admissions process. Students can contact Heather Kephart, enrollment generalist, at 301-784-5199 and visit the Admissions/Registration office in Room 143 of the College Center.  

Term options are available for the summer session. 
Allegany College of Maryland offers 10 and five-week courses during the summer. Full-term and A-term courses begin May 20, and A-term courses end June 24. B-term courses begin on June 25. Full-term and B-term courses end on July 30. 

Register now for the fall semester.  
Fifteen-week and 12-week courses are offered in the fall. Full-term courses begin on August 19. Delayed-start courses begin on September 10. All classes end on December 6.  

The college encourages every student who registers for fall courses to complete their 2024-25 FAFSA as soon as possible and apply also for Foundation scholarships.

  • ACM Financial Aid experts are available to help students submit their FAFSA by May 15, to receive the most financial aid they can.
  • The FAFSA application is available online.
  • Foundation scholarships are still available to students for the fall semester.
  • The college’s scholarship program requires an online application available.
