Allegany County Health Department and Allegany College of Maryland Partner to Provide Reproductive Health Services on Campus
CUMBERLAND, MD — The Allegany County Health Department and Allegany College of Maryland (ACM) are
proud to announce a new partnership that will bring reproductive health services (pregnancy
testing, birth control, including emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infection
testing, & treatment) directly to the ACM campus beginning in the fall semester.
Through this collaboration, services will be provided at the Nurse Managed Wellness
Clinic, located at 12401 Willowbrook Road, SE, Allied Health #115, Cumberland, MD
21502
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 301-759-5084. Walk-in services are also welcome.
“This partnership ensures that students and the community have convenient access to
high-quality reproductive health care in a trusted campus setting,” said Dr. Cheryl
Nelson, the clinical manager of the clinic.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment by ACM and the Allegany County Health
Department to improve access to essential health services, support student well-being,
and promote healthier communities.
