CUMBERLAND, Md (Apr. 4, 2023) — Allegany College of Maryland students shared their original artwork, poetry, prose, and essay submissions for the 2023 edition of Expressions, the college’s student literary magazine. An informal, public celebration of the students' creative works will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on April 19 in the Hazen Gallery. Students will read from their works, summarize their art and discuss what or who inspired them.
The Hazen Gallery, found in ACM’s College Center, is hosting an Expressions 2023 exhibit
until April 25. The gallery is open for viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays when the college
is in operation. Copies of Expressions will be made available to the public later
in the semester.
Allegany College of Maryland’s Expressions magazine was awarded the national Best Magazine award by the Community College Humanities Association in 2022. More information about Expressions, including past editions for viewing, is available at www.allegany.edu/expressions.
