ACM Partners with to Bring Affordable, Accessible Online Bookstore to Campus Community



CUMBERLAND, Md. (Nov. 30, 2022) – Allegany College of Maryland is pleased to announce as its new online bookstore., a premier edtech company focused on innovative course material solutions for higher education, will take textbooks and course materials completely online for ACM through 24/7 access to the college’s customized website. The new ACM Online Bookstore can be accessed at with textbooks available beginning Dec. 1 for the spring 2023 semester. 


As part of the new online bookstore solution, students will be able to view their required course materials at the time of registration with single sign-on to streamline ordering and payment. Students will have maximum purchasing flexibility, with options to buy new or used textbooks from or its Marketplace, rent new textbooks, purchase digital copies of textbooks, or sell back their textbooks all in one place. The new online bookstore’s ability to offer competitive pricing and price match guarantee will save individual ACM students hundreds of dollars each year. Students may also take advantage of a 30-day return policy after the start of classes. 


Saving students money on shipping was the main reason for the change to In prior years, students spent over $12,000 annually in shipping fees. Now, students may select to have their textbooks and course materials shipped for free to the Cumberland or ACM Bedford County Campus. 


In time for the holiday season, family members and friends of students attending ACM may now purchase eGift cards to help loved ones with their textbook and course materials expenses. More information is available at
