The Maryland Association of Community Colleges will host a free Virtual Transfer Fair from Oct. 11 to 14. Representatives from more than 90 four-year educational institutions will be available to meet with prospective transfer students over Zoom.
MARYLAND ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY COLLEGES OFFERS TRANSFER EDUCATION EVENT
CUMBERLAND, Md. (Sept. 28, 2021) – Current and future Allegany College of Maryland students have the opportunity to discuss the ins and outs of the transfer process when they attend a statewide Fall Virtual Transfer Fair October 11 through October 14. Attendees can meet with all types of four-year educational institutions, including in-state, out-of-state, private and public, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), and online-only institutions.
Sessions are available between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. daily. A full listing of the more than 90 participating institutions, including their scheduled dates and times, can be found at mdacc.org/vtf-fall-21. Students are encouraged to visit the website prior to the event and have the latest Zoom update on their device in order to participate.
The free Fall Virtual Transfer Fair may also benefit regional high school students interested in the transfer process. The four-day event is coordinated by a Maryland Association of Community Colleges’ workgroup of transfer advising professionals.
