MONTEZ KING ATTENDS MANUFACTURING ROUNDTABLE AT ACM
CUMBERLAND, Md. (Oct. 18, 2022)–Mr. Montez King, executive director of NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills), spoke to regional manufacturers during a roundtable event on Oct. 12 at Western Maryland Works at Allegany College of Maryland. NIMS validates skills and competencies in advanced manufacturing occupations. “Making the decision to train is not a solution without knowing how,” said King. The event was hosted by the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation and Allegany College of Maryland, one of the largest distributors of NIMS credentials in the U.S. in 2020.
