Busy local high school seniors are invited to plan ahead by working with a team of ACM experts at their high school during designated ACM Commitment Days.

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INVITED TO COMMIT TO ACM:

College Offers In-School Commitment Days

CUMBERLAND, Md. (Apr. 22, 2022) – Allegany County high school seniors planning to attend Allegany College of Maryland this summer or fall can get a jump on their admissions, course registration, and financial assistance by attending an upcoming Commitment Day at their high school. Students’ family members are encouraged to attend.

Save Time and Plan Ahead.

Because applying to college and registering for courses can feel overwhelming, ACM brings its team of admissions, advising, and financial aid experts directly to students and their families for Commitment Days in an environment they know well.

ACM’s teams walk students through everything from applying and filling out their FAFSA to selecting classes that align with their degree or transfer plans, saving them time and readying them for their next step.

ACM will be at Mountain Ridge on April 26, Allegany on April 27, Fort Hill on April 28, and the Center for Career and Technical Education on May 12.

Commit and Connect.

Sign-up sheets are available in each school’s guidance office. High school seniors and their families with questions about Commitment Days are encouraged to contact Tracy Reese, a college and career coach at ACM, at treese@allegany.edu
