How do I know if my computer is capable of viewing all online course materials?
Please reference the system compatibility requirements listed on the online course website before deciding to register for an online course. If you cannot find this information on the course website, please call Brenda Whiteman at 301-784-5336 for assistance in locating the information. Sorry, but Allegany College of Maryland cannot provide technical assistance.
Can I use a tuition waiver for an online course?
Sorry, tuition waivers cannot be applied to online continuing education courses.
What is the online course refund policy?
If a student wishes to withdraw from an online course and receive a refund, an official withdraw form must be submitted to the Center for Continuing Education Registration office. This form can be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 301-784-5341. Course fees minus a $4 processing fee will be refunded if the student withdraws prior to the start date of the course. Please note: once a course has started, it is much harder to grant refunds! Some of our online partners do not allow refunds once entire program curriculums are accessed online.
What sort of proof will I have that I successfully completed an online course?
After successful completion of your course, if you would like a completion certificate issued to you by Allegany College of Maryland Center for Continuing Education, please contact Brenda Whiteman at 301-784-5336.
