Paying for the costs of a college education is a concern for nearly every student and family. The fact is, few of us have the resources to simply write a check for the full cost of tuition each semester. So how are you meeting your costs? What’s your plan? Do you have one? Having a solid plan for covering the cost of college is an important step toward graduation. Allegany College of Maryland is pleased to enlist the services of Nelnet to make the process easier for you. Working together, Allegany College of Maryland and Nelnet can provide you with sensible strategies for covering your college costs.

Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses. It is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments through NBS is a $25 per semester nonrefundable NBS Sign-up Fee.  This plan allows students and families to avoid the traditional lump-sum payments and spread costs evenly for up to 5 monthly payments.

 Availability of the payment plan is determined by Allegany College of Maryland. Please be aware the college may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.
