SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO ALLEGANY COLLEGE OF MARYLAND STUDENTS

CUMBERLAND, Md. (Nov. 29, 2021) – The Allegany College of Maryland Foundation announces that the following students were awarded scholarships to attend Allegany College of Maryland: Sarah Myers, Flintstone, American Legion Post #13 Robert W. Hartsock Scholarship; Avery Nies, Cumberland, Robert E. Pence Memorial Christian Scholarship, Sheriff Donald Wade and Alda Wade Memorial Scholarship; Michelle Orner, Grantsville, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172 Scholarship; Jessica Riggleman, Green Spring, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 172 Scholarship; Payton Sharpless, Cumberland, Ivan and Charlotte Hall Scholarship; Shad Short, Cumberland, William F. Lashbaugh, Jr. Memorial Scholarship; Peyton Smith, Frostburg, May B.
