CREDITS BY EXAM OFFERED FOR CULINARY AND HOSPITALITY WORKERS
CUMBERLAND, Md. (June 17, 2021) – Allegany College of Maryland’s School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts is offering credits by exam for experienced workers employed in the hospitality or culinary industry. Anyone with a minimum of three years of relevant full-time work experience is qualified to take the challenge exams. A fee of $25 is charged per exam. Eligible courses include Baking I, Baking II, Dining Room Management, Food I, Food II, Hospitality Supervision, Hotel Front Office Management, Introduction to Hospitality, Menu Planning and Food Merchandising, and Purchasing, Inventory and Cost Control.
