ACM OFFERS CATERING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

CUMBERLAND, Md. (June 3, 2021) – Allegany College of Maryland will offer a catering and event management certificate through its hospitality management program. Prospective students can enroll now for the fall semester.

The one-year, 27 credit hours program, which includes an on-site internship, prepares students to design, plan and execute successful events for groups of all sizes. The catering/event management industry includes seminars, conventions, conferences, expositions, trade shows, sporting events, and special celebrations such as weddings, family reunions and birthday parties.

The School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, located in the Gateway Center in downtown Cumberland, also offers associate degree programs in culinary arts, and hotel and restaurant management in addition to certificate programs in baking essentials, brewing operations, cooking essentials, dietary manager, and restaurant management.
