ALLEGANY COLLEGE OF MARYLAND STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS 


CUMBERLAND, Md. (Feb. 23, 2021) – The Allegany College of Maryland Foundation announces that the following students received scholarships to attend Allegany College of Maryland for the 2020-2021 academic year: Madisyn Daubenmire, Cumberland, Northrop Grumman Corporation Scholarship; Libby Dozart, Lonaconing, Paul Garrett Shircliff Scholarship, Janet K. (Mathews) Shrout Memorial Scholarship; Shane Dick, Cumberland, LaVale Lions Club; Chloe DiNicola, Cumberland, Allegany-Garrett County Dental Society; Tynesha Goetz, Cumberland, William F. Lashbaugh, Jr. Memorial Scholarship, Walter W. and Dorothy B. Ruthenberg Criminal Justice Memorial Scholarship; Lainey Golliday, LaVale, William L. Wilson Jr. and Elizabeth Gracie Memorial Scholarship; Nancy Gordon, Keyser, Harold Appel Foundation Scholarship; Trent Harris, Cumberland, Centenary United Methodist Church Scholarship in Memory of Ron Hampton; Emily Hickle, Keyser, Droze G. and Margaret Hott Zembower Scholarship; and Ethan Hilgeman, Cumberland, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 172 Scholarship. 

The Allegany College of Maryland Foundation helps students achieve their educational goals by offering more than 2,500 scholarships annually. The college offers a simple online scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria determined by the scholarship benefactor.
