ALLEGANY COLLEGE OF MARYLAND SEEKS TO HONOR OUTSTANDING ALUMNI
CUMBERLAND, Md. (Feb. 11, 2021) – Allegany College of Maryland is seeking nominations for its annual ACC/ACM Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award. Nominees must exhibit excellence in their career field/occupation, dedication to their communities at the local, state or national level, and be a graduate of an accredited Allegany Community College/Allegany College of Maryland degree or certificate program. Nominations are due March 15 and will be reviewed by the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award Committee.
Past award recipients include Tom Keyser, J.D of The Keyser Law Firm, a former president of the San Antonio Bar Association and elected director of the Texas Bar Association, and Dr. Heather Gable, a professor and chair of the Department of Nursing at Frostburg State University.
