ALLEGANY COLLEGE OF MARYLAND PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO 17 STUDENTS 

CUMBERLAND, Md. (Sept. 24, 2020) – The Allegany College of Maryland Foundation announces that the following out-of-county and out-of-state students from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia received Presidential Award scholarships to attend Allegany College of Maryland: Samantha Blackstone, Hopewell; Olivia Chappie, Windber; Kassidy Clark, Everett; Jessica Daus, Imler; Riley Easton, Salisbury; Lexus Grubb, Everett; Katherine Hartman, Bedford; Emily Horn, Springfield; Cora Keefer, Little Orleans; Alyssa Long, Wellersburg; Lauren Lowery, Grantsville; Haley Malone, Ridgeley; Tory Miller, Berlin; Jordan Morral, New Enterprise; Marita Murray, Warfordsburg; Sophie Snyder, Roaring Spring; and Sophia Spittal, Confluence.  

ACM Presidential Scholarships are given to one graduate from each of 32 high schools and technical centers in counties and states neighboring Allegany County. Recipients are nominated by their high school counselors for this select award. The award is available only to high school seniors who plan to attend ACM full-time.
