MSDE Helps Launch Catering by the Culinaire Café Program

CUMBERLAND, Md. (Nov. 16, 2020) – Students in Allegany College of Maryland’s Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and Event Management programs are gaining hands-on educational experience on the go, thanks to a grant from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). MSDE provided an $83,920 grant to wrap and retrofit a commercial van with equipment to allow students in the School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts to more easily cater local business and campus events when college is in session.

Catering by the Culinaire Café will make its debut at the 1812 Brewery in Cumberland from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 19. Additional information is available on Facebook @cateringbytheculinairecafe, or by calling 301-784-5406
