Letter from the Vice-President of Continuing Education

Barbara R. Beebe, Ph. D.Welcome to 2012 and a new year of exciting possibilities!

As we extend a warm winter welcome to you, our esteemed past, present and future learners, we encourage you to explore the opportunities that lie within these pages. Each year the Center for Continuing Education offers hundreds of non-credit educational, cultural, and recreational classes, and this year we are happy to offer more new classes than ever before from which to choose.

Celebrating the birth of a child or hoping to capture those fantastic fleeting ‘firsts’? Our new digital photography course, “Photographing Children” will show you the way. Looking to better manage your finances? Our hands-on “Basic Budgeting” and “Coupon Clipping for Fun and Savings” classes will make the process as painless as possible. Inexperienced with that new iPad? Our “iPad for Beginners” will help you master the basics and have you successfully and swiftly synching your iPad. New to management or looking to enhance your leadership skills? “Connecting the Pieces of the Management Puzzle: Strategies for the New Supervisor” and “Detecting Deception for the Business Professional” are just two of the many new professional development classes available this spring.

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and take a moment to relax while you review our diverse course offerings. We’re confident you will find a class that interests you! If you’d like to develop your expertise into a course offering, please contact us and we can talk about the possibilities.

We're your community college and your path to success starts here...

Warmest Regards,
