Evergreen Environmental Experiences

The Center for Continuing Education is pleased to announce a new series of exciting weekend workshops -- "Environmental Experiences" with the Evergreen Heritage Center. Each of these exciting classes is taught in a single Saturday morning or afternoon. You can choose to take one class, both classes, or all the classes offered over a three month period.

All of the workshops will be held on the grounds of the beautiful Evergreen Heritage Center, which features its own museum, learning center, and outdoor teaching facility at 15603 Trimble Road NW Mount Savage, MD. At the end of each workshop, students will not only have acquired new and valuable skills plus insight into how to "live off the land" while preserving it for future generations, but will also receive a "take-away" gift. Feel free to bring a boxed lunch and enjoy a picnic on the grounds of Evergreen either before, after or in between your workshops! To register, simply call 301-784-5341 today!

  • Composting (C/S333)
  • Small Spaces Gardening (C/S334)
Take Composting and Small Spaces Gardening and save! Both workshops are just $54. Ask for course number: C/S337
