Tea for Two (C/S924)

Tea is grown in over 24 countries including the United States, so come and learn its tasty history as well as comparing and tasting teas from around the world. In this set of only two special classes, students will learn the traditional method, with cupping sets, as used by master tea growers and traders around the world. Tea tastings help you define your palate much the same as wine tastings do. Join us for this unique, interesting and even elegant course held inside the Tea Cupboard, the charming downtown Cumberland tea shoppe. Students will not only learn about the history of tea, but there will also be lessons on how to properly prepare tea, how to drink it, how to set the proper tea table, what to add and what to eat with it. Each of the two sessions will focus on a different tea and how it can be best served. The sessions will be held on two Tuesdays (one in March and one in April) from 12:30-2 p.m. The cost of each session is just $25 and includes a hands-on lesson in tea, a delicious lunch and a generous sampling of teas and desserts provided by the Tea Cupboard. Make an appointment to join us for tea on Tuesdays.

Ask for the "Qualit-Tea"(C/S933) pass. Save Twent-Tea percent off the individual session rate. Both sessions for just $40.00. This makes a wonderful gift for the tea lover in your life.
