CERTIFICATION EXAMINATIONS

 Upon completion of the program students are eligible to sit for the National Certification Examination. Licensure in most states is granted on passing scores for the National Certification exam. This examination is offered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Located at: 12 S. Summit Avenue, Suite 100, Gaithersburg, MD 20877-4150. Phone: 1-301-990-7979. After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and can obtain licensure for whichever state he or she chooses to be employed.
