Digital Photography: Landscape & Nature (EDP939)

In this comprehensive intermediate course you will discuss and practice the three major divisions in landscape & nature photography: macro photography, wildlife photography, and scenery. Special topics of discussion will be how to best maximize available light, choosing the best time of day for beautiful outdoor photos, and long exposure techniques. The first class session will meet in a classroom on May 8, and then you will meet again on Saturday, May 10 to practice nature and landscape techniques on location. You will then meet again on location on Thursday, May 15 to practice nighttime and long exposure photography. The final class session will meet on May 22 in the classroom to reflect on your captured images and discuss how to share your masterpieces with friends and family. Please note: You must have basic digital photography skills as well as a digital SLR camera to enroll in this course.
