What a Feeling! (C/S025)

Hot "Flashes" and Chocolate Tour

By request, the Culture Coach is pleased to return to Hershey, Pennsylvania for two unique experiences - each with our neighbor to the north in mind. We have secured excellent seats to a matinee performance of Flashdance: The Musical. Based on the hit 1983 movie, this critically acclaimed staged version tells the story of a small town girl from Pennsylvania who dances by night while climbing the man's world blue collar ladder in a Pittsburgh steel mill. The show includes the hits "Maniac," "Manhunt." "Gloria," and the award-winning title track "Flashdance - What a Feeling." This same touring company is expected to take this show to Broadway in October, 2014 - but you see it with us first! The Chicago Tribune said of this show: "...it delivers the same kind of sensual rush of the original film, and on a stage, with this story, that best can be delivered with raw dance to a rock-out soundtrack, all staged in front of a credibly gritty portrait of 1980s Pittsburgh." And the Chicago Sun Times said this show is "terrific, with an irresistibly old-fashioned spirit that gets you rooting for the good-hearted of this world and waiting for the sleazy to get their comeuppance. You've gotta love it!" After this thrilling stage show, we will take a guided tour through America's favorite chocolate town, learn of its history and its impact on culture. You'll then be free to explore the city of Hershey on your own for a bit of shopping and an on your own dinner before heading back to Cumberland. This trip is sure to hit your sweet spot!

Tickets must be purchased before Friday, March 28, 2014. Seats for this trip are extremely limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
