Quilting (C/S077)

It's time to be finished with challenging quilt patterns and have some fun. The first project for this semester is The WOW! Bag - a generous tote that expands to a double-sized Duffel-bag. No matter your age or interest, this bag is a "must" as it can be used for a multitude of functions. You don't even have to be a quilter to find a reason to carry it. Next the class will make a lap size quilt using one jelly-roll and one yard of fabric. This quilt top will go together quickly and is suitable for true beginners. There will be no frustration as the strips are already cut to 2 1/2" wide. Machine quilting will be discussed and demonstrated in class. Both patterns can be purchased in class. Beginning quilters are welcome but experience in using rotary cutters and sewing an accurate 1/4" seam allowance would be helpful.
