Our Favorite Haunts (C/S293)Afraid of the dark? Don't like things that go bump in the night? Does the thought of having a ghost sit beside you on a drive to Mount Savage give you chills? Then by all means, avoid this trip. This late evening adventure takes a far left turn into a hollow that is anything but sleepy. Board the specially decorated and dark Culture Coach bus for a late local tour unlike any other. Our lanterns cast their light first upon the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad where we meet costumed docents for a walking tour of reported haunted sites in Cumberland's historical district. From there, we journey to the Mount Savage castle, where several apparitions are said to walk the halls of this now charming bed and breakfast. The owners will guide visitors on a shadowy tour where you might see more than just the sites in any one of the guest rooms. After a dinner in the castle's dining room, you will witness a "murder" before your very eyes and you will be challenged to solve its mystery before embarking on the journey back to the main campus where you may find your previous seat strangely occupied.
6:00 PM - Midnight -- Saturday, October 19, 2013
Total Trip Cost: $59.00 (Includes round trip transportation from ACM, the guided tour of haunted sites, and the Murder Mystery Dinner show at the Mount Savage Castle)
