The Culture Coach takes a journey to the Maryland Renaissance Festival on Saturday, September 21. Located in lovely Crownsville, Maryland and set in a fictional 16th century English village named Revel Grove, the Maryland Renaissance Festival is the second largest renaissance festival in the United States. Located on 25 acres, the festival draws 250,000 visitors over three weeks. There are more than 130 craft shops, 42 food outlets, five taverns and nine continuously running stage shows. Spend a whole day in or out of costumes making memories that will last a lifetime, no matter what century you call home. Too much grub or ale in your system after a long day of whimsical frivolity? Don't get thy corset in a bunch. Relax and leave thy journey hither home up to our experienced footmen!
