Digital Photography: Wildlife & Nature (EDP916)
Capturing top quality wildlife images is a highly challenging discipline. Success requires stealth, patience, knowledge of the subject, an ability to read light and recognize those special, fleeting moments of unique wildlife activity. In this comprehensive course you will discuss and practice the three major divisions in this field: macro photography, wildlife photography, and scenery. You will learn techniques for getting close to wild creatures and how to see, anticipate and capture stunning wildlife and nature images. The first class session will meet in a classroom, but the majority of the class sessions will be spent outdoors putting to practice the techniques you have been taught. You will use the images you capture in the final course session to practice the art of HDR (high dynamic range) imagery. You should have basic digital photography skills as taught in EDP865 Digital Photography: The Basics to enroll in this course.4/27- 5/18, Saturday (4 sessions)
