Southwest Passage Wine Trail Tour (C/S011)
Did you know that our neighbor to the north boasts not one but seven unique wineries – collectively known as the Southwest Passage Wine Trail? Join us on board the Culture Coach as we travel to three of those seven wineries. Passengers will have the chance to tour each winery with a guide and do wine tastings along the way. Light lunch, snacks and dinner will be provided. The coach will first visit Glades Pike Winery in Somerset. Located in the Laurel Highlands and close to Seven Springs, since 1995 the winery has been producing award winning wines. After that, we will head to Greendance Winery at Sand Hill in Mt. Pleasant. On a hillside, Greendance has been a working farm since 1779. In 2007, a sophisticated winery was established with traditional wines and specialty farm-grown fruit wines. Entertainment and lunch will be provided at this stop. From there, the coach will head to the Christian W. Clay Winery in Chalk Hill. Located just outside Nemacolin Resort, this winery features their own line of award winning wines. The tasting room on the lower level offers customers tempting gourmet snacks, exquisite gift ware, and award-winning wine from the Christian W. Klay collection. A boxed meal will be provided along with wine sampling. Everything described here, including round-trip transportation aboard the comfortable Culture Coach, wine tastings, snacks and meals is included in the price. This trip is bound to sell out quickly.
