Preventive/Rehabilitative Application, Introduction to: SilverSneakers Muscular Strength & Range of Movement (C/S113)
The SILVERSNEAKERS MUSCULAR STRENGTH & RANGE OF MOVEMENT course empowers students to take control of their health. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, balance, coordination and activities for daily living. This class offers something for everyone, regardless of fitness level, and can help improve overall strength, flexibility and balance, resulting in the ability to stay healthy and maintain independence. Exercise at your own pace, the instructor guides the students through exercises with resistance tools. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.
