Preventive/Rehabilitative Application-Physical Strength Training, Introduction to (C/S113)
This course will instruct the participants in the importance and actual techniques of preventive/rehabilitative applications through physical strength training. The focus will be on restoration and maintenance of joint range of motion and improvement of balance and coordination. This physical strength training course will include extensive training in regards to maintaining physical conditioning and preventing future deterioration. This course is a safe, professionally supervised exercise session that improves strength, tone, flexibility and cardiovascular and respiratory fitness with warm-up and cool down exercises included. Class will also apply Yoga, Tai Chi, and Relaxation Techniques. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
