Neurology for the Massage Therapist (CHE 712)
This class will help the massage therapist to better understand the neurologic system. It will review commonly seen neurologic conditions effecting clients, specific areas to concentrate on, contraindication, where and when to refer and other important aspects. It will be both hands-on and lecture format. Common dermatome patterns, along with reflexes will also be covered. This class is a must for any therapist who works with other medical professionals.
