Dog Obedience Training- Introduction (C/S020)
Introducing CE’s new Dog Obedience Training instructor, Kati Bowell. This class is for dogs that have never had any formal training. Participants will learn basic obedience commands and techniques that will enable them to build a stronger, happier relationship with their dog. Canine participants must be at least 12 weeks of age, have age appropriate vaccinations, and no history of aggression. Dog owners must be at least 16 years old. The first class will be held without dogs to discuss expectations, curriculum, and individual troubleshooting. The classes will be held indoors and are limited to 6 dogs for lots of personalized attention.About the instructor: Kati Bowell is very passionate about dogs and dedicates all of her spare time training them. She has 21 years of dog training experience, 19 years in animal rescue, and has taught dog obedience training for 13 years. She volunteers at the Allegany County Animal Shelter and is the Rescue Coordinator. Kati is also the owner of Ali Oop Adoption, dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming and is a member of the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club. Limit: 6 dogs/6 owners.

10:00 AM -11:00 AM - Puppies: ages 3 months to 8 months
11:00 AM- 12:00 PM – 9 months and older
ACM: CE-18 (All classes will be held inside)
