Computer Basics (C/S101)

In this course, students will learn the basics of computer use. The material covered provides hands-on experience and guides the students through the basic use of the computer. The students will learn essential computer terminology, software applications, document creation, internet basics, online safety and email. The instructor, Jason Huber, will explain purchasing and setting up a computer, and demonstrate working with software programs, files and folders. Additional topics include creating documents in a word processor and browsing. Jason has a Masters of Education from the University of Maryland University College-Adelphi, Maryland and is the Technology Infusion Specialist for the Allegany County Public Schools.
