Investing Research & Trading Online (PPD379)
Gain the confidence! This course is intended for individuals who are anticipating making informed decisions for their investment future and buying and selling securities online. Students will learn the financial requirements for investing as they learn to navigate the computer. They will learn when to buy and sell, the sources of the funds, the savings and investment vehicles to be used to achieve investing security online. The securities include: stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds and options. The students will have the opportunity to select the securities to be researched. At the end of the course, students will be well grounded in how to conduct investment research and confident in making their investment decisions based on their research. Senior tuition waiver applies to Maryland residents 60 or older.10/3-10/24, Wednesdays (4 sessions)
