Estate Planning for the Not-So-Wealthy Extended (PPD371)
Eliminate the uncertainties! This course is for individuals who are anticipating and determining the financial requirements needed for estate planning. Students will configure their financial requirements needed for estate planning by learning how much they will need, when they will need it, the sources of the funds, and the savings and investment vehicles to be used to achieve financial security. Course content will be directed toward structuring an estate to maximize the amount transferred to heirs. Wills, life insurance, savings and investments will be covered in class. Other topics discussed will be medical and health maintenance benefits, pension and retirement options, transferring assets, and replacing lost income. Senior tuition waiver applies to Maryland residents 60 or older.9/5-9/26, Wednesdays (4 sessions)
