Statewide Designated and Health Manpower Shortage Programs

Team of Students

These programs are designed to enable students in certain fields to earn an education more affordably. Beginning Summer 2012, Maryland residents from counties other than Allegany who register in these eligible programs will be charged the out-of-county tuition rate. However, these students may be eligible to receive reimbursement for a portion of the cost difference between the in-county and out-of-county tuition rates.

The list of eligible programs changes frequently for both Statewide Designated and Health Manpower Shortage programs. In addition, funding availability for these programs is based on funding from the State of Maryland and is thus subject to change. Please contact the Admissions/Registration Office for more information.
