LPN-RN Online Program Entrance Exam
All applicants who apply for admission to the LPN-RN Online Program at Allegany College of Maryland will be required to participate in pre-admission testing. You must take the test as part of the application process. The score you receive on the test will be considered as part of the selective admissions process. Applicants will be notified by mail of eligibility to take the Entrance Exam 6-8 weeks after application deadline. If you do not take the test, your application will not be evaluated.
All applicants who apply for admission to the LPN-RN Online Program at Allegany College of Maryland will be required to take an Entrance Exam admission test. This is a national standardized exam. Interested applicants who are approved to test are encouraged to utilize any NCLEX-PN review book to study for the exam.
THIS process consists of TWO Phases:
Phase One: Applicants who qualify in Phase One of class selection by meeting initial program criteria will be notified by mail of eligibility to pay and register for the Entrance Exam 6-8 weeks after class application deadlines close.
The Entrance Exam must be administered online in a secure proctored setting. Click here to review requirements for securing Test Proctor Sites. Applicants who are APPROVED to test are responsible to have secured an exam proctor to be eligible to take the exam. You can submit your Test Proctor Approval Request online.
Phase Two: Candidates from Phase One complete the Entrance Exam. The score received on the Entrance Exam is then considered as part of the final criteria for the selective admissions process. Applicants who do not register and do not take the entrance exam will not be considered for admission.
Applicants who meet established criteria at the end of Phase Two will be notified by mail of their application status for the Online Program, typically within 4-6 weeks of the Testing Period.
DEADLINE DATE TO REGISTER FOR ENTRANCE EXAM IS January 6, 2016(Midnight).
No late registrations will be accepted. All test times are Eastern Standard Time unless otherwise noted.
*APPLICANTS are responsible to Confirm with their Proctor Site that a SEAT is available for the DATE and TIME they register for the exam PRIOR to submitting the proctor site request form. Exam dates and times will NOT be rescheduled or 'adjusted' to fit proctor site schedules.
