We know that nothing is more important to you than getting the classes you need in the order you need them. At Allegany College of Maryland, you'll work directly with your assigned advisor or one of our Admissions/Registration staff (for those times when your academic advisor is not available for consultation) to make a schedule of classes that works for you and your chosen program of study. By making an appointment with your academic advisor prior to registration periods, you'll be well prepared to register as soon as semester registration opens. Because sometimes classes are full, ACM has adopted a new feature that allows you to sign up for those classes - the Wait-List . Just so you know, in order to be considered as a full-time student, you need to enrolled for 12 or more credit hours (or non-credit equivalency) per semester. Enrolling for 11 or fewer credit hours (or non-credit equivalency) per semester, makes you a part-time student.
Have you ever wished that you could make time fly by faster? We created A and B-Term courses to offer you the chance to condense a 15-week semester class into a 7-week course during the fall and spring semesters. We even condense a full semester into a 5-week format during summer session. You won't miss a thing in terms of course content as all A/B-term classes offer the same course content as its 15-week counterpart.
