College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

College credit for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom setting may be obtained by taking the CLEP for other college level work. In addition to the testing fee paid to College Board, non-Allegany College students must pay a $25 proctoring fee.

Before taking the CLEP for credit, students planning to transfer to other schools should contact those schools to determine whether or not the exams will provide acceptable credit. Please contact the SSC at testing@allegany.edu or call 301-784-551 for testing dates.
