Admission
for transfer students to Virginia Tech is offered on a competitive basis as long as a space is available in their chosen fields.
The maximum number of credits transferable from a
community college is equivalent to one
half of the number needed to graduate from Virginia Tech. Only courses in which the student has earned a “C” or better and are
consistent with those offered at Virginia Tech will transfer. SAT or ACT scores are required if less than two years
of college have been completed at the
time of application.
