Physical Science

Program Description

Physical Science provides wide-ranging service to the students’ enrolled at Allegany College of Maryland. Under Physical Science is offered a transfer program in Physics as well as courses in physics required of pre-engineering and pre-professional transfer majors. Additionally, Physical Science courses are required for students pursuing an Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree and are recommended for elementary education majors. Course in Astronomy, Geology, Meteorology as well as Physical Science satisfy the Mathematical and Biological/Physical Sciences Electives.
