Biology 215 - Nutrition - 3 Semester Hours

Offered second semester and as demand warrants. Three hours lecture a week.

This course includes nutrition related to maintenance of normal health and prevention of disease; nutritional requirements for individuals in different states of development; diet and nutritional analysis; and current concerns in nutrition for the professional in health services.

Prerequisite: Biological Science 100 or 101, or Chemistry 100 or 101, or consent of instructor.
