Program Description

The Biological Sciences area offers a wide array of courses. For the general student population, introductory courses without labs include Human Biology and Nutrition while introductory courses with labs include a variety of general biology courses, botany, dendrology, medicinal botany and environmental science. Designed for specific programs but also open to interested students are two more introductory courses with labs: Osteology and Musculoskeletal Anatomy of the Human. Advanced courses include General Biology II, Dendrology II, Forest Biology, several human anatomy and physiology courses, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, and field studies.
